We sat down with Talita who placed fifth in the Women’s Weight Loss category of our Summer Challenge 2023. We wanted to find out the secret to her success and she was happy to share it with us.
Please give us a short history of your journey to health and fitness before the challenge.
It was challenging, but amazing. I am recommending it to every living human who wants to make better choices and be better!!
What prompted you to join the Sleekgeek Transformation Challenge?
No-one. I saw it on the internet because I was looking for motivation.
Give us a quick overview of the nutrition and eating plan that you followed during the challenge.
I just said no to everything “bad” – sugar and all that and made better choices.
Give us a quick overview of the training and exercise plan that you followed during the challenge.
Basic things everyone can do in between work and making food. Star-jumps, lifting my kids, going for walks, running wherever I need to go etc.
If you could give 3 pieces of advice to future challengers, what would they be?
- One step at a time but stay committed no matter how small DO IT STILL.
- Mark it off on a calendar.
- Say no and keep going. Every-time you say no to bad things, it will become easier.
Why should people enter the challenge?
It’s life changing.
