We sat down with Meyer Du Plessis who placed fourth in the men’s Weight loss category of our Summer 2022 Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge. We wanted to find out the secret to his success and he was happy to share it with us.

Trying to be fit before 40.

What prompted you to join the Sleekgeek Transformation Challenge?

It’s been tough, been with Sleekgeek a while. Really giving it a go at the moment to be fit in 5 months.

High protein low carb.

A lot of mountain biking and hiking.

If you could give 3 pieces of advice to future challengers, what would they be?

Walk just walk. If you are as overweight as me just start walking. It makes a big difference.
