Doing what you need to do, even when you don’t feel like it, pays off.
- Every workout that you do when you don’t feel like it will buy you a day off when you really need it.
- Every healthy meal that you eat when you don’t feel like it will buy you the ability to enjoy those special birthday and anniversary meals with loved ones without any guilt.
- Every early night that you get when you don’t feel like it will buy you the stamina for those unavoidable late nights or early mornings.
Even though health and fitness is a lifelong endeavour and there shouldn’t really be any days off, there WILL be days when you just CAN’T do what you need to do. That’s life.
So buy yourself a day off here and there by doing what you need to do on the days that you CAN.
The ability to show up, even when you don’t feel like it, is one of the greatest predictors of your ability to achieve your goals.
You may even surprise yourself – some of my best workouts have been on the days I really didn’t want to work out.
