Please give us a short history of your journey to health and fitness before the challenge.

Before the challenge, my health and fitness were pretty much non-existent, maybe the odd walk but zero focus or intent to be healthy.

What prompted you to join the Sleekgeek Transformation Challenge?

My wife and I both agreed that now was the time to get healthier, not just lose weight but to get into a healthier lifestyle and we thought the 8-week challenge would be a great opportunity to kick start these habits and changes, which it was. Having a challenge that kept me focused for 8 weeks and a wife that encouraged, motivated, and helped keep me focused really made a massive difference.

Give us a quick overview of the nutrition and eating plan that you followed during the challenge.

I stuck to a calorie deficit diet (having a partner, family, or friend who has the same goals as you and has your back is key, my wife was my rock and rocked).

Give us a quick overview of the training and exercise plan that you followed during the challenge.

A walking / running program and a workout video throughout the 8 weeks.

If you could give 3 pieces of advice to future challengers, what would they be?

1. Finding someone who has like-minded goals to do this with is key.
2. Keep moving even when you don’t see any weight change.
3. No excuses and no regrets for eight weeks.

Why should people enter the challenge?

It is a great opportunity to achieve nutrition and weight loss goals in a competitive environment and grow with the people you do this with. Highly recommended.
