Please give us a short history of your journey to health and fitness before the challenge.

I have always been obese, since my childhood days, and I realize that most of my unhealthy habits are emotional and this is what I want to concentrate on this year.

What prompted you to join the Sleekgeek Transformation Challenge?

I have done quite a few SG challenges and the challenges keep me focused and pull me back on track. I am just not ready to give up on myself just yet. I want to work harder to lose weight and live healthier so that I can enjoy life with my little boy.

Give us a quick overview of the nutrition and eating plan that you followed during the challenge.

Banting LCHF coupled with OMAD mostly or otherwise 20:4 IF.

Give us a quick overview of the training and exercise plan that you followed during the challenge.

I am not very comfortable yet so I do what I can with the weekly Team challenges and roadblocks etc. I also just try my best to move a little more every day.

If you could give 3 pieces of advice to future challengers, what would they be?

  1. Start today, a better time will never come again. If not, you will always look and wonder ‘what if?’
  2. Join a Team, the support, dedication, motivation and inspiration is invaluable
  3. Step out of your comfort zone, because it’s due to your comfort zone that you are at this point. Try something different and do it for YOU.

Why should people enter the challenge?

It has been life-changing for me. Although I fall along the way, the challenge motivates and inspires me to keep going. The wealth of information and guidance received is only for your health and your advantage. Everything is at your disposable, made easy, just for you to choose and follow. At the end of the 8 weeks you never loose, no matter how small the weight loss or transformation, it would not have happened, you would not have pushed that hard if you didn’t join the challenge.
