Please give us a short history of your journey to health and fitness before the challenge.
Never really did anything fitness-related until Sleekgeek. Now I have been doing one challenge a year for the last 9 years.
What prompted you to join the Sleekgeek Transformation Challenge?
I just needed to live with better and healthier habits.
Give us a quick overview of the nutrition and eating plan that you followed during the challenge.
Just a healthy well-balanced diet. Protein, fat, carbs, are things I learned from working with fitness consultant Ashley Galliard and Craig Brown.
Give us a quick overview of the training and exercise plan that you followed during the challenge.
I tend to train 5 to 6 days a week in the gym. Again from programs developed by previous fitness consultants.
If you could give 3 pieces of advice to future challengers, what would they be?
- Be prepared to commit for the full 8 weeks and focus on sticking to that commitment. Doing so will give you a great sense of achievement and the results will follow.
- Best health and fitness plan is one you enjoy and can stick to.
Why should people enter the challenge?
Having a goal in mind makes sticking to your health and fitness routine so much easier. I find it almost impossible to train and eat with the same levels of discipline without an end goal in mind.
