Please give us a short history of your journey to health and fitness before the challenge.
I have been on my health journey for a few years but recently I have been struggling to get my mindset right and also to get back on track.
What prompted you to join the Sleekgeek Transformation Challenge?
My sister Rahldeyah has been doing many challenges and I know she always does well with these challenges. When she told me she was going to do it again, I decided to join her.
Give us a quick overview of the nutrition and eating plan that you followed during the challenge.
I basically just followed a low-carb eating plan. I played around with a few ideas at the beginning of the challenge even tried OMAD but what worked for me was 3 meals a day with no carbs and no snacking in between with lots of water.
Give us a quick overview of the training and exercise plan that you followed during the challenge.
Because I suffer from Sciatica which some days restrict movement for me. So I basically did the weekly team challenges, I had some exercise videos that I followed and also walked three times a week
If you could give 3 pieces of advice to future challengers, what would they be?
- Have the right mindset to start off.
- If you part of a team, be prepared for lots of messages it can become overwhelming at times. But you can learn a lot from the messages as your team is your family. If you have any questions ask them it will helps alot on this journey.
- Take it at your pace and make it a lifestyle change.
Why should people enter the challenge?
Enter the challenge because it really gives you the foundation and all the support you need not only for the challenge but to make lifestyle changes.
