Please give us a short history of your journey to health and fitness before the challenge.
Four years ago I realized that I’m an alcoholic. I went for treatment to turn my life around and started on a journey of health and fitness. It has been a roller coaster journey. Not always unicorns and rainbows but taking it a day at a time.
What prompted you to join the Sleekgeek Transformation Challenge?
I did 2 challenges before and I loved it. This time I was just more focused, and put more effort in.
Give us a quick overview of the nutrition and eating plan that you followed during the challenge.
I did IF 3 days a week. Used the charts from Sylvia as a guide to what to cut out and what to eat more of.

As a runner, I have a running program but I’ve incorporated more strength training. I enjoyed the weekly challenges too.
If you could give 3 pieces of advice to future challengers, what would they be?
- Be kind to yourself.
- Don’t compare yourself to others.
- Train and enjoy it
Why should people enter the challenge?
The challenge isn’t just good for fitness, the comeraderie that you get is unbelievable. The support and motivation is over the charts.
