💪 8-Week Body Transformation Challenge! 🥗

Today we chat to Bianca van Rooyen who placed 4th in the Women’s Transformation Category of our Summer 2020 Sleekgeek 8-Week Transformation Challenge.

Give us a short history of your journey to health and fitness before the challenge

For a while, I struggled with self-confidence, weight, and yo-yo diets. Trying “supplements” to aid in weight-loss, just to pick up all and more afterwards.
In school, I was a fit athlete and then… life happened… then lockdown came. It was peppermint crisp tart, Cremora Tart, home-baked bread… and the list goes on. I was trying to boast about the “chef” in me. I started the Sleekgeek 21-Day Reboot in July last year and managed to lose 12kg.

What prompted you to join the Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge

Then the 8-Week Challenge crossed my path and I thought to myself “Why not? Why not push yourself with a challenge?” I know that I need a kick under the butt sometimes to get me going and what a better way than the 8 Week Challenge. To be accountable for a change. I had nothing to lose. And by paying R399 for the early bird challenge, I HAD to push through, I HAD to give it my best. And WOW!!! This whole experience was so life-changing. The Vault is just amazing, the access to all the information you get is PRICELESS, joining a Team, and then the Challengers Journey… So well thought out by these amazing Sleekgeek founders.

Give us a quick overview of the nutrition and eating plan that you followed during the challenge

I followed the Sleekgeek 21 Day Reboot program while doing the 8 Week Challenge. I find that Reboot is so sustainable and not just for me but for my whole family.

Give us a quick overview of the training and exercise plan that you followed during the challenge

I started with the Beginner Dumbell Training plan with FitOn and Chloe Ting workouts. I then moved over to the Advanced Dumbell Training program.

If you could give 3 pieces of advice to future challengers, what would they be?

  • Do it! Each cent paid is so worth it!
  • Join a team, the support and motivation is priceless!
  • Stay consistent with your meal plan and training! It pays off!
