The Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge Explained

Something really cool happened yesterday!

Earlier this year right before the New Year Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge launched, Eric sent out an email to explain how the challenge worked.

In that email, he put in a whole bunch of screenshots of excited community members making posts on Facebook showing their excitement for the upcoming challenge.

The very first screenshot he used was this one:

Now the cool thing is that Ciska actually won R10,000 yesterday!

What started out as an excited Facebook post earlier this year turned into her winning the Women’s % Weight Loss category!

Anyways, we thought that was pretty cool and just wanted to share that with you.

Right now, Sleekgeeks are:

  • Discussing which “heat” they’re going to do (there’s 4).
  • Recruiting team members for their teams and houses.
  • Looking for fellow Sleekgeeks to buddy up with.
  • Convincing their significant other to join them.
  • Anxiously awaiting the announcement of the new prizes up for grabs.
  • And figuring out where they want to be in the next 8 weeks.

Although we do have a LOT of information on the Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge page we still find that a lot of Sleekgeeks don’t quite understand what all the fuss is about and end up missing out.

So, we are going to try and explain it a bit more below.

The Sleekgeek 8-Week Challenge has been a staple tradition in the Sleekgeek Community since 2012, so we’ve tried to make it as simple as possible over the years.

? How it works is easy!

You put some skin in the game by buying an entry into the challenge, which gets you to a wide variety of exercise and nutrition plans along with a bunch of powerful resources to help you get from Point A to Point B over 8 weeks.

There’s toolkits, printables, videos, email series, bonus resources, expert tips, and an accountability check-in system!

We also provide you with the ? focus, ? support, and ? motivation that you need to stay on track and achieve amazing results over the 8 weeks.

The winners then walk away with some incredible prizes worth R100,000!

But something I would really like to highlight is that the average weight loss over each 8-week challenge is consistently 5kgs+ per person.

For Elan and Eric at Sleekgeek, this challenge is so much more than whether you place 1st or 2nd and win a prize… The REAL reason that they put so much effort into each and every challenge is because of how many people it helps get started. It’s a fantastic way to get out of overthinking everything and just take action – plus we help you do it right every step of the way.

We designed the Sleekgeek’s 8-Week Challenge to have flexible starting dates.

We know real life can be ? HECTIC and you should be able to choose to start ⏰ when it best suits you.

If you are eager to enter and ready to lose weight, pack on muscle, or just start living a healthier life then you can choose from 4 different starting dates (called “Heats”).

Each heat starts on a consecutive Monday:

✅ Heat 1: 03 June

✅ Heat 2: 10 June

✅ Heat 3: 17 June

✅ Heat 4: 24 June

Remember… “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is now.”

There will ❌ NEVER be a “perfect time”, so don’t delay for too long.

Taking forward action, even if it’s not perfect, towards your goals is 10 times better than waiting for the perfect moment to start but never actually getting started.

Once challenge entries open on the 28th of May, you can buy your entry and then only select a start date a bit later – but at least then you have made a commitment and secured your spot in the challenge before entries close.
