YOUR TRANSFORMATION

Describe the “old you” before you made your transformation. How did you get there and what were you like?
I was a 2l a day Coke a Cola drinking type person with totally unhealthy habits. I had no zest for life.

What ignited your initial motivation to change?
I recall trying to cut my toenails and I started cramping as well as having shortness of breath with the simplest of tasks. All I wanted to do was sleep and not face the world.

What are some of the things that the new you does differently now?
I had a total 360 degree attitude change. Now I challenge myself daily in all aspects of my day. I am more conscious of my eating habits and go out more often. When possible I enjoy the outdoors (camping)

What are some of the things that the new you still struggles with?
Chocolates ☺ and self confidence (still haunts me a bit)

If you could give yourself 1 piece of advice to help with that struggle, what would it be?
Believe in yourself

Did you plateau, get stuck, or get disillusioned, or even slide backward a bit on your journey?
So far the only plateau thankfully is being stuck on a certain weight at gym.

Legs and back.

Least favorite exercise? [Distance / pose / movement / etc]
Shoulders and cardio (hardio lol!)

How does exercise make you feel?
Refreshed

Do you prefer to train alone or with others? Why?
There are times when I enjoy training alone, however, with my team, there’s always motivation and extra muscle soreness the next day ☺!

Most embarrassing training moment?
Tearing my shorts on the leg press ( was only the second leg exercise)

Top 3 things you must have at the gym or in your gym bag?
Wrist straps, elbow sleeves, knee straps and my weight lifting belt.

Your next training goal?
Increase strength and stamina

Top 5 songs on your training playlist?
No music currently (I will get an iPod soon hopefully)
