QUESTION 1: Give us a short history of your journey to health and fitness before the challenge.
A: I have a history of yoyo dieting my whole life… I have lost big amounts of weight only to gain it all back again and extra. I developed a mindset of knowing I have done it once before so I can do it again.. I became so good at it, it wasn’t a challenge for me anymore. When I put my mind to it.. I would achieve amazing results that were short lived.
QUESTION 2: What prompted you to join the ULTIMATE YOU Transformation Challenge?
A: I came across the Facebook page at the end of last year and decided to enter the New years challenge. I placed 31st… I wasn’t completely happy with the results so I decided to try better my placing.
QUESTION 3: Give us a quick overview of the nutrition and eating plan that you followed during the challenge.
A: My eating plan was rather simple as I followed the CSN program.
QUESTION 4: Give us a quick overview of the training and exercise plan that you followed during the challenge.
A: I used all sorts of exercising DVDs like Hip Hop Abs and Zumba. The dogs even appreciated their daily walk they were getting.
QUESTION 5: Did you use any supplements or do anything else worth mentioning to help you get results?
A: I didn’t use any supplements or do anything extreme to help me with my results.
QUESTION 6: If you could give 3 pieces of advice to future challengers, what would they be?
(1.) Set realistic goals. (2.) Stay focused and don’t get discouraged if the scale doesn’t move. (3.) Have non-food rewards for achieving each milestone.
QUESTION 7: What did you find most valuable about your experience?
A: You can achieve great things if you set your mind to it.
