Music is the language of our soul.
One single song can have a lot of emotion and meaning behind it. How often do we find ourselves humming along to a special tune or being drawn to music that reflects our mood?
Dive deep down into your memory bank and find those golden oldies then create a playlist that makes you feel good and if it gets you dancing, well we credit you with bonus points!
Music has been scientifically proven to make you feel happier. When you listen to your favourite songs your brain releases dopamine, which can lead to feelings of happiness, excitement, and joy.
It can improve running and there has been research that shows that music can help you eat less.
Listening to music lowers your cortisol levels which means it reduces stress – even more of a reason to plug in your iPod and sing along in your car.
Researchers have also found that music helps you learn and recall information better.
