It’s no secret, sunshine makes us happy and because it is a source of Vitamin D it also has a positive effect on ageing and provides many cardiovascular benefits.
Exposure to sunlight helps produce melatonin which in turn improves our circadian rhythm and helps us sleep better.
Aim to get about 10 to 20 minutes of exposure on non-sunscreen skin every day. But please be careful not to burn yourself! Try to stick to early morning or afternoon sunshine.
Rather have a small amount of sun time each day than a huge sun binge as we all know that can result in sunburn!
Just 15 min can help promote bone growth, strengthen your immune system, lower your blood pressure and even promote weight loss!
