This is a service provided by Google so you need to have a google login or gmail account to list yourself.

You will list yourself and can ALWAYS update and edit your listing over here

INSTRUCTIONS

• Visit  the Sleekgeek Locator Google Map editing interface here.  Note: YOU MUST be logged into a Google account in order to add yourself.This will probably be easier on a PC then a mobile device like a tablet or mobile phone. 
• PLEASE NEVER fiddle with this icons below. They control the overall map and not your pin.
• 

• Click the ‘edit’ button located on the left side of the page.  PLEASE Do NOT type anything into the boxes that appear on the left (Title and Description), that is the title of our map and needs to stay the same. 
• Find your location on the map searching for your area or street address.Privacy note: While you may be comfortable pinning your address we advise for your own safety since this is a public page that you indicate your area or an intersection in a 1-3km range of your residence.

• Once you have located the area where you live, click the ‘Add Marker’ Pin button located directly above the map and under the search box. After you have selected the pin, click the spot on the map where you would like to add it. Please add as close to your location as possible and double check for accuracy.
• A box will pop up and let you add a Title and Description to your pin.We advise you type your name and surname as the title so you are easily identified.In the description, you can write whatever you want! However the content needs to be useful to others! Imagine you clicked on a pin and all it has was someone’s name.We suggest that you Include your health interests and activities.We also suggest that you have a way someone can connect with you. You can put in whatever you are comfortable with. Phone number, email but we suggest the most valuable is a link to your Facebook Profile so somone can click on it and connect with you in one click. From a privacy perspective this way you can also choose you accept on Facebook and decide to connect with.To get the address to your pagebook page visit it in a web browser and copy the address at the top of the page where you usually type website addresses.

• If you accidentally drop your pin in the wrong spot, you can move it at any time by clicking on it and dragging it. But be careful that you don’t accidentally move someone else’s pin! The fun thing about this map is that we can all edit it, but it is also very easy to accidentally edit someone else’s info!
• You can check if you name and data is on the map at https://www.sleekgeek.co.za/locate/ – If you see your name there and your listing looks as intended you are all good!
• If you place the marker in the wrong place please move it or delete it otherwise it remains on the map.As you can imagine with so many people addind data and making mistakes the map can quickly become a mess if you do not clean up after yourself. If you add a pin and do not use it it will typically look like the image below.It will be “Point (number)” – simply click the Rubbish Bin icon in the bottom right corner and this will delete the Pin.Thanks for the help 🙂
• You can return to the Map edit page and edit your details at any time.
