Earlier this month, two big events happened:
- Sleekgeek Sponsor, adidas, opened up their brand new adidas store at the Gateway shopping center in Durban.
- Women’s Health held their incredible Fit Night Out event at Sugar Rush Park in Durban (news post coming soon).
To celebrate, adidas gave us a R3,000 shopping voucher to give away to one lucky Sleekgeek so that they could get kitted out for Fit Night Out!
Our randomly picked Durban Sleekgeek community member was Bianca Lee!
I (Eric) and our photographer Savannah flew up to Durban to meet Bianca at adidas and attend Fit Night Out with our Durban Sleekgeeks.
It must be noted that this adidas store at the Gateway shopping center is BRAND NEW!
It was gorgeously designed and is also the biggest adidas store in Africa. So if you’re in the area you NEED to go check it out. They also have an incredible amount of sales on at the moment to celebrate their opening with many products up to 50% off.
The store was jam-packed full of so many amazing choices of all the latest and greatest sports gear!
We spent hours in the shop browsing, trying on, and deciding.
So many choices!
Thankfully the staff there were incredible and a huge help!
In fact, adidas even called in their Technical Specialist, Jade, to come and give Bianca advice on which shoes would be best for her based on her running technique.
As part of the fun, we even got to participate in a separate adidas giveaway! They were giving away another shopping voucher to one of their lucky 3 Stripes newsletter subscribers. I got to pick the winner!
The decision was so hard to make, but in the end, Bianca left with an incredible pair of top-of-the-range shoes!
Sleekgeek hugely appreciates your support and absolutely love your passion for cleaning up the oceans!
